Former New York Mets catcher Todd Pratt has been named manager of the Glacier Range Riders, an independent team in the Pioneer League.
Pratt, who played 14 years in the majors, played five seasons with the Mets (1997-2001). He is most widely known in team history for his dramatic walk-off postseason home run in the 1999 National League Division Series against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
