After two weeks of voting for the @MetsRewind Hall of Fame Class of 2025, Jerry Grote is currently atop the 15 candidates up for election.

Grote, who passed away last year, played 12 seasons for the Mets (1966-1977). In more than 1,200 games with New York, Grote batted .256. He was selected to represent the Mets in two All-Star Games (1967 and 1974).
