Davey Johnson attempted to soak in every detail of the game, but there were just so many pivotal moments in the New York Mets 5-4 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates in 18 innings.

He just shook his head in disbelief and told the media, it was “one of the most entertaining five-and-one-half hours baseball I had ever seen.”
