Sports Illustrated announced its laying off its staff. If it's the end, it will be sad. But what a glorious ride it was for generations of sports fans.
I sat down with a cup of coffee and began scrolling through X on Saturday morning morning. The more I scrolled, the more I realized the news of the day was a digital tribute to Sports Illustrated.
