Seaver snubbed again, Lenny Randle on the MetsRewind Podcast, Hall of Fame Update and Felix Millan are all featured in this weekend's Rewind newsletter.
Mea Culpa, Mea Maxima Culpa
This week on Twitter we were chatting about the anniversary of another infamous moment in Mets franchise history: the day the Mets let Tom Seaver slip away — again.
Look at Frank Cashen’s stunned reaction and body language in the New York Times photo above.

Link: Millan’s batting stance
MLB.com reporter Bill Ladson published a cool story about Felix Millan this weekend.
Millan credits minor league instructor Hub Kittle for his unique batting stance. Ladson wrote:
Millan accomplished so much with an unorthodox batting stance. He choked up on the bat and held his hands near the trademark … Millan was in a serious slump and his hands were placed near the knob of the bat. It was Kittle who made the suggestion to choke up, and the rest is history.

Ripped from the Pages
"Until you come and play in New York, you don’t know what the impact is. It takes a certain player to be able to play in New York. Some guys just couldn’t handle it. Period." - Lenny Randle
Lenny Randle is one of the funniest MetsRewind Podcast interviews we have ever done. His storytelling and impression of Ted Williams were outrageously funny.
