Ron Taylor, a member of the 1969 World Series championship New York Mets, has passed away. He was 87.
Taylor played 11 seasons in the majors including five seasons for the Mets (1967-1971). In the 1969 postseason, Taylor recorded a win in the NLCS vs. Atlanta Braves and a pair of saves, one in the NLCS and one in the World Series.
